Group Programs: Museums, Families, Universities

Miscellaneous_Cool_PicFor museums, family groups, universities, and other groups, Southwest Ed-Ventures, a program of Four Corners School of Outdoor Education, can provide you with unique and hard-to-find experiences designed to involve participants in the wonder and joy of being in the outdoors. With us as your outfitter, you could:

  • Float the San Juan river, to see spectacular geology, rock art, and ancient ruins
  • Visit Navajo, Hopi, or Ute tribal lands, immerse yourself in these vibrant native cultures, and appreciate their art and crafts
  • Trek through the stunning, wild redrock canyons of Utah
  • Tour major archaeological sites with the guidance of experts
  • Engage in a wide variety of other fun adventures

Led by the Southwest's foremost experts in geology, archaeology, ecology, native cultures, and other subjects, our "Southwest Ed-Ventures" feature top-notch itineraries, great food, your choice of accommodations, and complete and educational pre-trip materials. Our twenty-two years' experience in the outdoors is your assurance that no one else can offer you such a valuable mix of content, expertise, outdoor skills, and trip design.

We are a commercial outfitter on the San Juan River, and hold permits for Bureau of Land Management, National Forest Service, and National Park lands. We know where to go and what to see in the Four Corners area, and would be pleased to be your guide to the best of the Southwest.

The enclosed catalog will give you an idea of how our programs are structured. Think of it as a menu of ideas for the types of trips on which you could go. Then, if you have an idea of a "dream vacation" you'd like to do, give us a call, and we'll take your concept and turn it into a reality.

For further information, contact the Southwest Ed-Ventures Manager at 1-800-525-4456.
