The building of our new campus, the Canyon Country Discovery Center will:

  • Create 23 new jobs/sustain 10 jobs
  • Fill 9,391 motel rooms annually
  • Increase TRT/Sales Tax $229,376 annually
  • Serve 35,000 onsite/97,000 outreach people annually (50% Native American)
  • Invest $2,282,995 in construction costs locally
  • Produce an estimated Social ROI of $9.8 MIL annually*(*Based on the monetized social value of teacher retention/renewal programs, student education/motivation programs, professional certification programs, workforce development/ youth employment programs, scientific research in San Juan County and the CO Plateau)
